LONE PINE KOALA SANCTUARY

On Friday Dec. 16, Brendon and I went out to the Koala Sanctuary (aka. mini zoo of Australian animals). They had koalas everywhere, most were sleeping up in the branches but we were lucky enough to watch one jump from one branch to the next and then climb up and down the tree and run around its pen. Koalas sleep for about 20 hours a day, so it was pretty interesting to see so much action!!! We both got to "cuddle" a koala and pet a kangaroo!

Great experience, it looks like. It also looks like our computer background. Maybe I'll try to put one of your pictures as background.

Great to see the Blog site. Very impressive and a great way for us all to keep in touch with you and Brendan on your travels. You are making us all wish we could relive a part of our lives..Have fun. I know Christmas has passed you by and we are just sitting down to our festive meal. Great day nice and quiet but spending time with family is what it is all about. Safe journey and we will talk again soon.
Brendon and Kristin, we've been sitting here pondering over your amazing experience! Live it up for us! We hope you have an amazing New Year's down under! We're going on a cruise to Key West and Cozumel on Jan 2- 6; and we're still envious of you two! Thinking of you both always! Love Meredith and Chris
